PowerScreenX ("we", "our", "us") is a family screen time control app. We take the privacy of our users — especially children — very seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

PowerScreenX is designed for use by families. Children do not create accounts directly — a parent or guardian creates the child's profile and manages it. Children access the app using a device code set by their parent.

We do not collect personal information directly from children. All child data is created and managed by the parent. A parent may review or delete their child's data at any time by removing the child profile from their family.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), authenticated API access (JWT tokens), and access-controlled databases.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Data is only shared within your family group as needed for the app to function (e.g., parents can see their children's screen time balance).

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your family and all associated data at any time through the app. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating the effective date above.
